LONDON: British Moroccan model Nora Attal stole the spotlight at the Burberry Winter 2025 show held on Monday at London’s Tate Britain.
Attal captivated the audience with a long black faux fur coat cinched at the waist by a belt, creating a chic, oversized look. Underneath, she paired a brown collared top with matching trousers. The top’s sleeves extended past the coat’s cuffs, and brown heels completed her stylish outfit.

A host of stars shared the runway with her. The show featured icons like Naomi Campbell, actors Lesley Manville, Richard E. Grant, and Elizabeth McGovern, as well as Lila Moss, daughter of supermodel Kate Moss. All of them helped model creative director Daniel Lee’s fifth collection for Burberry.
The Burberry Winter 2025 show also showcased a range of exciting pieces. Along with Attal’s stunning coat, the collection included leather trench coats, velvet brocade suits, and equestrian styles such as jodhpur trousers paired with high leather boots.

The catwalk was set on a bright blue carpet—a color that has become Daniel Lee’s trademark at Burberry. The neoclassical backdrop of the museum was enhanced with drapes featuring impressionist prints inspired by famous British landscape artists.
The collection’s color palette featured warm browns, greys, and taupe, echoing the British countryside, with touches of red and yellow for added vibrancy. Designs like jacquard-woven trenches, brocade jackets, and silk pyjama shirts and trousers hinted at inspirations drawn from the tapestries and wallpapers of stately homes.
Daniel Lee explained his inspiration:
“It’s that great Friday night exodus from London to the countryside for long rainy walks and to disconnect in the great outdoors.”
Accessories for the show included oversized scarves with chunky fringes and leather boots featuring Burberry’s signature check pattern.
This was the second show since CEO Joshua Schulman took over at Burberry. With a renewed focus on outerwear, scarves, and the brand’s British heritage, the strategy aims to turn sales around. In a nod to this focus, each guest received a dark green and navy check scarf with their invitation.
The Burberry Winter 2025 show marked the closing event of London Fashion Week—the second leg of the Autumn/Winter 2025 catwalk series, which began in New York and will continue in Milan and Paris.
