Marvel Studios has officially lifted the veil on the star-studded cast of the highly anticipated “Avengers: Doomsday” movie in a surprise livestream event on March 26, 2025. While rumors and speculation have been swirling for months, this announcement confirms a massive ensemble of both familiar faces and exciting new additions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The confirmed cast list reads like a who’s who of the MCU and beyond. Fan favorites such as Chris Hemsworth returning as Thor, Anthony Mackie as Captain America (Sam Wilson), Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Letitia Wright as Black Panther (Shuri), and Paul Rudd as Ant-Man are all set to reprise their roles.
Adding to the returning heroes are Wyatt Russell as US Agent, Tenoch Huerta Mejia as Namor, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, and David Harbour, who will officially return as Red Guardian following his appearance in the upcoming “Thunderbolts*.” Even the mischievous Tom Hiddleston is confirmed to be back as Loki.
