BLACKPINK’s Lisa is adding another remarkable achievement to her ever-growing list just days before the release of her debut album!
The 27-year-old superstar is set to become the first-ever K-pop artist to perform at the Oscars 2025.
According to Soompi, the Academy announced on Monday, February 24, that Lisa will perform her new song “Born Again” at the prestigious awards ceremony.
The 97th Academy Awards is scheduled for March 2 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, just a couple of days after the “Lalisa” singer unveils her studio album on February 28, 2025.
Lisa will share the stage with Doja Cat and RAYE, who are featured on the track, marking the song’s official live debut.
“Born Again” was pre-released on February 7, 2025, and is a highlight of Lisa’s upcoming first full-length album.
In addition, BLACKPINK’s youngest member is gearing up for an album packed with collaborations featuring globally renowned artists like Megan Thee Stallion and Tyla.
Adding to her impressive repertoire, Lisa has ventured into acting with her debut in the third season of HBO’s “The White Lotus,” which premiered on February 16, 2025.
